Flat Stanley

Our grand-nephew sent a school project of "Flat Stanley" to us. We were to take him around our area, talk about what its like around here, and send him back to Idaho. We had great fun with him! Richard enjoyed eating breakfast with him, and getting his picture taken!

Bowling fun

Bowling....How fun is that? To us... VERY! After church on Sunday we took the gang out to eat (which was a fantastic pizza buffet!) and went bowling at our local bowling alley. Craig and I got a work out helping the folks bowl, with bumpers on the alleys, and the handicap railing for the balls. But there was just as many smiles during bowling as there was eating pizza! whewwww.... that was fun.

Have a Blessed 2009!

Sparkling cider graces our toasts... games to get us to midnight, some go to bed early, but we all had a great time!

Is it Christmas already?

After church on Christmas Eve, we come home for a meal of swedish meatballs, garlic mashed potatoes, and an unending supply of christmas cookies and other desserts. When that is all over it is time for presents!

Campfires, smores and general just sitting around enjoying the sunset. Now thats summer! The whole gang loves campfires and smores... we have had lots of fireworks this year too, not just for the 4th of July. The gang is looking forward to a little cooler days so that it is a little more pleasant to sit outside on the back patio. But the three large shade trees and the constant breeze we usually have here on the hill does make it mostly comfortable.

Old friends

David ran into an old friend and knew her instantly!

Busy summer!

Kris squints in the sunlight on the humid 4th of July morning while watching the parade. We buy donuts and drinks and sit and eat breakfast while watching the parade. Lots of candy was collected and the gang enjoyed watching the little children in the parade and those watching the parade.
